On behalf of the European Society of Agricultural Engineers, EurAgEng and of the French Society of Engineers and Technicians in Mechanization and Agricultural Engineering, SitmAFGR, Cemagref welcomes you to the International Conference on Agricultural Engineering AgEng 2010 CF that will be held in Clermont-Ferrand, France, on September 6-8, 2010.
AgEng 2010 CF will meet exciting challenges dealing with climatic change mitigation and adaptation, health and environment issues, or food, energy and natural resource shortage. These challenges cross social issues such as demographic trends and economic issues related to globalization. Agricultural engineering technologies are part of the solution. Their sound design is the core of AgEng 2010 CF Conference. It is an opportunity to share ideas, discuss results, and be pro-active for developing environmental-friendly technologies for agriculture, aquaculture, and forestry, in the perspective of rural development. AgEng2010 CF is backed by a French community of Agricultural Engineering stakeholders involved in academics, industry, and public policies.

AgEng 2010 CF will emphasize the advances in the design and the development of environmental technologies in agriculture in the perspective of rural development. Agriculture encompasses here farming, aquaculture, forestry and multifunctional uses of the land. EurAgEng is presently working out the notion of biosystem as an agricultural model.

PhD students, Representative of Developing Countries and of Industry will be especially encouraged to attend Ageng 2010 conference.
