Presentation
The AgEng 2010 Conference brought together 456 participants from all over the world interested in environmental technologies for the environment and agriculture.
These participants, scientists, representatives from industry (around 10%), officials and journalists, were mostly European, 62% were French, Spanish, German or Italian. Other countries of Europe were also represented, with people from, for example, Greece, Czech Republic, Finland, UK, Hungary, etc.
However, AgEng 2010 fulfilled its goal to open up to other countries, especially emerging countries, with a little over 11% of participants who were non-European. Every Continent was represented with scientists and manufacturers from America (Canada, United-States, Brazil), Oceania (Australia, New-Zealand), Africa cameroon, South Africa, Morocco) and Asia (Japan, Korea, India, Iran, Israël and Turkey).
Altogether 34 countries were represented during the conference, and a special place was given to some emerging countries during the plenary sessions (Brazil, South Africa, ...).
